- Description: Richard Thompson is an illustrator and cartoonist best known for his syndicated comic strip Cul de Sac . Thompson's illustrations have appeared in U.S. News & World Report, The New Yorker, National Geographic and The Atlantic Monthly. Richard has also contributed to The Washington Post over the years. We developed a logo that would be used extensively in his branding. The shape of the logo is die-cut and used as his business card. The branding was carried through in the interactive and website.
- Client Testimonial: I was delighted when Chris Sparks proposed building an identity and showed me what he could do. His obvious enthusiasm, knowledge of comics as an art and a business, carefulness and burgeoning talent and skill as a designer are happily forcing me to pull myself up to code. He's thought of approaches to putting my work out there that would never occur to me, such as videos of drawing in action and building a font from my (rather odd) lettering. His execution of these ideas has been more than l could‘ve hoped for. I'm tickled to be dealing with Chris and l'd heartily recommend him to any cartoonist, illustrator or artist I know. ~ Richard Thompson
