Working With Us
If you’ve never worked with a design firm or freelance designer before, the process may be a bit unfamiliar to you. We are in the business of creating something just for you… no window shopping, no weird sales pitches. We get to know you and your goals, create a plan, and get to it – with you helping in the process the entire way.
It all starts with a conversation…
If you’re interested in learning more about how we could help you with your project, just send us a line→
We’ll follow up with you to get a couple more details and if it seems like we’d be a good fit, we’ll schedule a meeting with you. There’s no consult fee and no obligation, so we’ll limit our chat to no more than an hour. This allows us to listen to your concerns, get a good feel for your business goals and write an accurate proposal for your project.
How do we tailor our recommendations to you?
Our initial consultation will cover a lot – and, we’ll dive deeper in our project questionnaire! We’ll ask you to complete this before our consultation – or have you refine it afterward. It will require some thought on your part and will serve as our guide for your project proposal and the initial discovery phase of your project.
What We Offer
Make sure you take a look at the What We Do pages which will go much more in depth, but essentially, we are a brand agency that offers graphic design and web design services. Whether you need the full shebang – a brand crafted from scratch with a variety of visual assets – or need a single or small assortment of visual assets to fit in with your brand, we’ve got you covered. We create logos, a variety of printed and digital assets, provide marketing strategy, and, we specialize specifically in WordPress websites.
Project Phases
Most projects will go through at least four stages…
Consult
We’ll discuss your goals, ask you to fill out our questionnaire, write a proposal and have you sign a contract.
Discovery
We’ll use our proposal outline and your completed questionnaire to write a discovery doc to make sure we’re on the same page. It’s our plan of action! This is also when we’ll do any research required.
Design
From our discovery, we’ll start to work on the visuals. You’ll be presented a few options and will have the opportunity to provide feedback for revisions.
Development
For web projects, this phase is for the actual build of your site. You’ll see your selected design come to life!
Delivery / Launch
After everything’s complete you’ll be delivered everything you need to move forward.
More details about the specific process for each project type can be found on those service pages.
Still have burning questions?
If you’ve never worked with a designer (in any industry) before, we understand it can be daunting to “buy” something you’ve not yet seen.
Design is most successful when you follow a standard process and let us get to know you! Take a look at our sample questionnaire if you’re curious about this. Also, take a look at our portfolio… you’ll see our design aesthetic in the range of projects we’ve done.
The alternative is that you get a design that someone created to please a variety of people and is much less likely to stand out and represent you accurately.
Yes, indeed! Our project proposal (that we write after our consultation) will serve as our contract. You’ll be able to e-sign that document. The terms and conditions will be very clearly outlined, but if you have any questions, we’ll address them!
We’ve offered some guidelines on our service pages to give you some idea of general project cost, but one of the reasons our consultation is so important, is so we can accurately quote our price. Each project is unique so it’s hard to just throw out numbers.
When it comes to payment, all projects are broken down into at least two payments. We’ll request a deposit once the contract is signed and final payment is due before the delivery – and, sometimes payments are due at certain mid-project milestones for larger jobs.
We can work out payment plans and offer credit card payments too!
